Could prescription drugs have caused Michael’s death?

The news of Michael Jackson’s death was surly found out even in the most hidden corner of the world. He was obviously a king, and not only a king of music, Michael was for millions of people an idol, an example to be followed.
Now, despite the pain that his death caused in everyone’s heart, we have to look and analyse what could be the causes for which the star passed away.
The latest news are saying that, according to his attorney, Brian Oxman, Michael’s deaths might have been caused also by suspects prescription drug abuse. "I don't know what caused Michael's death, and I don't want to speculate as to what the causes are. I only know that I warned them there was the misuse of prescription medications by people who were enabling him; his handlers, folks who should never have been permitted to allow him to use those medications in the manner I observed."
Although, Oxman didn’t confirm the fact that Michael may have been overdosed on Demerol which might have caused him the cardiac attack. "We'll have to wait for the toxicology reports before we jump to any kind of conclusions. I only know that I warned that his day may come", he said.
Michael Jackson suffered a cardiac arrest and was pronounced dead at 2:26 p.m. The star was supposed to perform at London's O2 Arena beginning in July, as a celebration of his 50th anniversary.
Oxman said he didn’t not know if Jackson had been examined before the tour, but "he has been in good health".
Oxman’s suggestion concerning the drugs seems pertinent since the star (though sick) wasn’t showing real signs of collapse. Actually, that is why everybody was so surprised!
